Yesterday the all new plazes was released. I have to say: It’s a big blast, this time. Plazes now supports groups, upcoming whereabouts and twitter-like status updates. I do not only like the new functions, it’s also the new and clear design that makes the relevant features more accessible and more easy to use. Very big congrats for the very well work.

Plazes is a webservice to publish your current location and keep track of the location of your friends. It was founded be two former antwerpes + partner colleagues and is now run from Berlin Mitte.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

es ist Zeit die Wahrheit zu sagen: Auch ich habe in den neunziger Jahren unerlaubte Mittel angewendet, von denen ich mir eine Leistungsexplosion erhoffte. Im Einzelnen waren dies:

- Ausgedehnte Schallexperimente mit pergesslemariefrederiksson
- Beschallung mit albannwapa in homöopathischen Dosen
- Übertriebene Farbexperimente in orange

Dazu möchte ich noch anmerken, dass ich dadurch niemanden absichtlich betrogen hatte. Wir waren füher alle orange und beschallt. Ende der Durchsage

Also ich hab seit längerem schon vor mal die beiden einzigen aus Leverkusen kennenzulernen. Schließlich fängt Anne jetzt gerade an zu video-podcasten und Stefan hat sein Layout offensichtlich zerschossen. Und da eh gerade Sommerloch ist: Sollen wir uns nicht mal treffen? Ich könnte fast immer.

Das Plazes-Blog berichtet, dass Klaus Wowereit, Berlins regierender Bürgermeister, seit neustem Plazes-User ist. Wunderbar: So stell ich mir transparente Politik vor. Mal sehen, wie groß – oder klein – das Medienecho darauf wird. Jedenfalls scheint der gute Klaus ganz findige PR-Berater zu haben.

Ich bin übrigens der Meinung, dass ALLE Politiker per Erlass gezwungen werden sollten, ihren Standort zu offenbaren. Zur Not auch durch einen Reverse-Bundestrojaner.

Just for a short visit, though. I’ll be in Berlin from May 18th to 20th, visiting the plazes guys’ new office. If you could imagine having lunch, going out or doing some serious singstar-session with me just drop me a comment or – for the old-fashionistas – mail or phone. See you there.

If you ever get hungry, and I mean REALLY hungry, make shure you drop by at the Waldgeist in Hofheim. What you see is what you get: 30cm burger, 1.2 kilo rumpsteak and – last not least – the “Bembel des Todes”, eight liter of bacardi and cola.
 
 

I just quit another job. From June 1st I will be working here in a team with this homie. Sounds sad to the cologne – but nice to me ;)

We had a great barbecue during the easter weekend: A whole goat! Very tasty – very shiny: A great experience if you like barbecueing.

Instructions:
Marinate the goat in a big bucket of milk and sweet herbs for about 24 hours. Fill the stomach with herbs and olive oil, add fruits or vegetables if you like. Be sure to suture the stomach after filling to prevent the meat from becoming dry like an old piece of bread. Prepare a sauce to rub the goat while being on fire: Olive oil, lemonjuice, salt, pepper, fresh oregano and thyme.

Spear the goat an put it on a well temperated grill. Keep it rotating for three to five hours and keep it moistured with your prepared sauce.

I serve it with greek salad and pita bread.

I just ordered two premiere-tickets for 300, the new movie based upon a graphic novel by Frank Miller. Great!!!
