Update: Keep syncing

I have been waiting for this tool for ages: A software that syncs my Google calendar with my iCal calendar – and vice versa. Spanning Sync, a little piece of software that does exactly that, is close to become public beta. I can hardly wait for the release, a huge step to have calendars synchronised on the web, laptop and mobile-phone.

Update: Spanning Sync is public beta – and again closed temporarily: Too many new subscribers. New hardware will be installed to manage traffic.

Webmontag Cologne

I am currently at the cologne webmontag, the first time I visit this event here in cologne. It is the total opposite to berlin: Still too many nerds here. Topics might be interesting (creative commons, digg-clone, XSS-security issues), but there is no chance to listen or eventually watch the slides. I think I have to watch the video capture in a few days.

Markus @ Pechakucha

Finally it is online: My speech about public toilets at pechakucha #3.
