Well informed sources report, that there will be a very smart solution to share your current location via short message service while on-the-go. The source tells that a release will be announced within a short time.

I was allowed to take a sneak peak at the new service and have to admit that the convenience is really impressing. Stay tuned for further updates.

I have been using NetNewsWire as my favourite RSS newsreader for almost two years now. Now there is a new version 2.1 that forces you to register an account, otherwise you are not longer able to use the software.

Not willing to do that I surfed a bit around in order to check some alternatives. There I found the open source newsreader “Vienna“. Cool interface, multiple language, active developer community and completely free.

I strongly recommend a look!
