Pennywise – live at SO36

Yesterday I have been at the SO36 in Kreuzberg for the first time. Pennywise played a gig there. It was really nice with all the pogo and stagediving action, although I had to realize that I am out of shape in that case ;)

Note to myself:

Have to fix this UTF-8 problem really fast…

Backing a cake

Inspired by Tim I tried to make a maulwurfkuchen. Was not to bad until I realised I do not have a proper mixer or anything comparable to whip the cream.

Genesis3000 V3.0 beta

As some might have recognized a switched to a new layout. Of course i did not do it by myself but used a pre-configured one made by Michael Heilemann. This is not yet finished, i found a few bugs and have to think what plugins i will have to install.

Any bugs found, any feature suggestions? Drop me a comment. Thanks.

Deichkind at Coke + iTunes launch party

I have been at the coke + itunes launchparty at the Spindler & Klatt in xBerg. Announced were sets from soffy o. and deichkind. I have never ever expirienced anything compareable to Deichkind, they exploded on stage (Photos). Naked, sweaty, bleeding and definately drunk they kicked the shit out of the crowds asses. Flying pillows, rubbish, bodies and full vodka bottles. Fantastic show! If you ever can make it to see them, kill your brother and fuckin’ go there.

What is Web2.0? In 24 minutes

Michael Arrington of TechCrunch invited 13 web2.0 startup CEOs to discuss some questions:

1. What is Web 2.0?
2. Are we in a bubble?
3. What are the business models that will work on the web today?
4. What is the role of publishers in a user generated world?
5. How important and how big is the early adopter crowd?
