Active Collab is a free opensource collaborative project-management-tool, that is quite similar to basecamp. although not equipped with all those fancy ajax formulars it scores with implented benefits you’d have to pay for in basecamp. there is e.g. free file uploading, unlimited documents and so on. its cool, if need some in that way, give it a try.

i am currently at the we all speak football community in berlin wilmersdorf. it is really nice here. cold drinks, hot people and good conversations. seems to be fun. maybe i’ll be coming back tomorrow.

They finally made it! Currently the plazes guys are switching to the new version of the plazes interface. I have to mention it was definately time to do so. Thanks to stefan and felix I was able to take a sneak peak at the new design and new functions. Some things I like most so far is the seamless navigation through physical plazes via google maps, your “average travel speed”, sorting plazes after interesstingness, location recommendation, fancy statistics and – YESS! – a completely new blog badge.

I can’t wait to test it on the live-system. And so should you!
