is me! I told the whole world I’d go to L’Alpe d’Huez to watch the tour de france. But I failed the date. The famous leg is not July 10th but July 18th! Holy shit! I hope at least I can shiftmy freetime to another date. And I hope Pit won’t beat me up.

a few days ago flock published the new milestone16 of their cool webbrowser. while we still have to wait for the first real beta i downloaded the new milestone build to check out their status. in my view flock now is really faster, integration is much smoother and is just yet an alternative to firefox/mozilla, especially if you use flickr, blogs and so on. what i like best is the abillity to search your surf-history.

I have a UMTS-Phone, my account provides video-phoning, formerly hyped as the “next SMS”. And I tried to video-call everybody from my contact-list, of whome i know the also have a UMTS enabled phone. But nothing works! I always get the message the other side couldn’t respond because they are out of service. Is that really the great future mobilcom, telecom, quam and all the others paid around one billion?
Alle Welt redet vom Video-Podcast unserer fantastischen Bundeskanzlerin. Manch einer zerreißt sich das Maul, ich finde es grundsätzlich gar nicht so schlecht und warte erstmal ein paar Episoden ab. Schlimmer als der Karlcast von Karlsberg kann es eigentlich nicht werden.
Heute Morgen war der Kanzlercast auch Thema beim “N24 Guten Morgen irgendwas”. Und was da eine kritische Expertin von sich gab war eine Frechheit: “Ich frage mich, wen das interessieren soll!? Als ob der Bürger, der jeden Samstag auf den Markt geht, auch jeden Samstag Lust hat sich diese Internetsendung der Kanzlerin anzuhören.” Etwas dümmeres habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gehört.
This year I’ll fight for getting to one of the most mystical legs of the tour de france: Gap – L’alpe d’Huez, July 10th. This means I will miss the soccer world cup final. Sad, but beeing in france riding up the 21 switchbacks will solve my pain.
