Berlin Bar

Berlin Bar #2

Berlin Bar #2,
originally uploaded by genesis3000.

yesterday i have been to berlin bar with michael and sebastian. although it is some kind of stereotype mitte lounge/bar the bathroom caught my attention: lots of glass and brushed steel combined with this very rough concrete sink. the water dispenser have to be activated by footstep on the ground. really cool.

Hedonism

I bought this nice gadget to enhance the range of our communistic WiFi. I hope all difficulties, which where mainly instable connection and slow datarates, will be terminated then. This would also mean, I can hardcore test secondlife, a brand new web3.0 application which i will blog about in a few days. So stay tuned.

And I ordered two pairs of shoes: Nike Dunks and Nike Meadows. Cool, ain’t?

Flockalize

Since tonight there is a new star at browser-heaven: Flock. Manage multiple blogs, your del.icio.us bookmarks and your flickr photos right from your browser. another killer: all visited websites are indexed on load and can be “spotlight-style” searched in the search bar. Flock also comes with rss-capabilities, downloadmanager and a full firefox engine.

go give it a try!

Yesterdays dish

after a period of almost four weeks of abstinence chef makka n did it again – cooking. my flatmate and his girlfriend were happy to be served with a really nice chili con carne:

ToDo’s:

  • Cut some juicy beef in small stripes (only tourists use minced meat), mesh it up with garlic, onion and tabasco-sauce.
  • Throw it in a hot-as-hell pot and roast it for a few moments.
  • After that add fresh tomatoes, chili, greenpepper, red beans and corn. fill it up some tomato-sauce.
  • let it cook for 20 minutes and add chopped parsley.
  • I serve it with a few lime-shots and some green spearmint-leafs plus a tasty chilenian caubernet sauvignon.

    Weekend

Had a nice weekend with anastasios, a friend of mine. We had lots of food, some drinks and a fantastic boat tript on the river spree. bad luck we had no real mc explaining the beauty of berlins buildings (…und die berliner nennen diese kreisrunden fenster im kanzleramt – haushaltslöcher, höhö…) but only some information from tonband. nevertheless it was fun and i’ll take my beautiful girlfriend to the three-hour-tour the next time.

    Blinkenlights

blinkenlightsAs written on metroblogs one of the coolest light istallation projects is back in town: blinkenlights. hurry up to play pong with your mobile on the “haus des lehrers”, only two weeks left.

“Du bist voll am Start in meinen Träumen”

Great quote, Michelle Littbarski. Seems that you topped your father by far, when it comes to brainpower.

    Back online

things improve these days: i’m finally online again. wifi rescued my digital life, so to say: a guy in the rear bulding streams his wifi to the front building, from where i stream it to the street. in one word: we have a wifi bridge over the courtyard. thats damn cool.
