it has been quiet in a while…

… but I have been working hard.

There are a lot of things to happen:
After a very soft launch of the Testosteron Cologne website, flash just made a new design, which, inshalla, teemow will develop. Sadly, the schedule is not yet fixed. We will keep you posted when it is. The COOLaboration Front! made some new tracks and is fluently working on its first album, which will be published within the next two weeks. Probs to Jack Migger for the designs.

If we can finish all work in time, presentation will be at the next “wish you were here” party of our buddy drakestar. And believe me: We are working fanatically.

Date: Friday, August 5th
From: 11pm
At: Silberschweinhalle
Special Guest: Visuals by rtz23 from Testosteron Cologne

Longboard

Finally I got one:
My little longboard is the shit, although it was not too expensive. I like it!

Shake it, baby

My birthday is on July 24th when I will turn 24. To my disgrace I must admit: I have not yet been to a strip bar, but I will. With some guys. Schedule is as follows:

First stop at the thai royal karaoke bar,
after that to the strip bar.

I hope it’ll be a blast. Wanna join? Drop me a line. No coca, eh…

Conspicuous consumption

ipod shuffleIt has been almost half a year, now I finally got one: The 1gig iPod shuffle. It is less heavy, less expensive and less big than a regular iPod. Maybe I’ll even get rid of my bigPod.

The shuffle’s sound quality is great, handling is great, haptic is great. Go, buy one yourself.

Das Wunder von Leverkusen

I own a PC that has been running for almost four years before I switched to the mac. Nowadays i use the PC as a mediaserver and backup system. Last week something strange happened: After 5 minutes of work the PC made a complete freeze and i had to reset. After a few tryouts with the same results i shut it down completely. Two days later i tried it again and got serious gaphics errors. Okay, bad luck I thought, the PC jacked up.

And now comes what I cannot explain:
As I entered the livingroom yesterday morning, the fucking computer was working – completely stable to my suprise. And I definately did not switch it on myself. for some reason it did it all by itself. Anyone got an explaination?

London calling – BBC vs. metroblogging

While BBC has been temporarily unavaliable during london bombing, london metroblog was the place to be. Maybe especially during such sudden desasters, the media-scene will start to realize the huge potential of blogging. The first-person-perspective of blogwriting gives us a real view of the situation, just as if we were there too.

Mobile Google Maps

This is just fantastic: Google Maps on your mobile phone.

Grab your mobile, go to wap.mgmaps.com and download the small java app. (29kb). With that you can use all services google maps offers: Waypoints, route planning etc. If you feel homesick for the Brandenburger Tor or the Siegessäule just switch to satellite mode to have a clear view. No matter where you are in fact.

Wish you were here

Have been to an ass-kicking party on friday: Wish you were here, hosted by Drakestar and the monofunk.net posse. Unfortunately we had been there far too early and of course were loaded far too early.

Next party will be on August 5th. If you can make it there, make it!
