Just listened to Adam Green’s new album. After all that promotion in german media I just had to make my own opinion. I am not sure about his music. He definitely has a great voice but I do not yet admire his sound. “Emily” reminds me of some german song, but I do not remeber the title. Damn. That’s bothering me.

    I love this guy, though I think “Friends of mine” was a better album.
    When I heard “Emily” for the first time (live on the Harald Schmidt Show), I knew I’ve heard a song like this before. Maybe “Beinhart” from the “Werner” movie?

    Ya! “Beinhart” was even my first idea. Maybe A.G. is a Fan of Torfrock?

    I doubt he ever heard it. The song structure is so simple I wouldn’t be surprised if there were dozens of independently composed songs out there which sound just like this.
